Band Fusion

Past

In mid-February 2005, a blog known as "Concerts Weekly" was kick-started by Joshua and Kenneth. The original aim was to mass promote school bands' concerts through an online media platform. Through the mass support of our friends from different school bands, a forum community was built for people to contribute their opinions and post more information about everything and anything that were happening in the band scene.

As the community got larger, the duo decided it would be great to work on a new site, which was conceived on 30 October 2005. The title "Band Fusion" was then formed, with the idea of fusing bands together into one scene. This project has since developed beyond original goals and has been serving the local band scene and its bandsmen till today.

Present

Today, Band Fusion is a project specially dedicated to the local band scene in Singapore. We currently serve as a media platform for symphonic and wind bands, encompassing mainly primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.

This project is run by a diverse team of 10 individuals who, in their free time, put their efforts and thoughts together to keep the site going. We are currently looking at the possibilities of keeping this project independent and self-sustainable.
